Biography
Ed Gerard received his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles 1979. Upon graduation from law school he worked for the Law Office of Marvin M. Mitchelson, Esq., where he specialized in civil litigation, constitutional litigation and family law.
In 1987 he founded Gerard & Associates Los Angeles and in 1992, he relocated to Atlanta where he founded Gerard & Associates Atlanta. At both offices he successfully placed attorneys with law firms and corporations nationwide and internationally.
Since coming to New York in 1994, Mr. Gerard has completed many high-level partner searches, group acquisitions and in-house search assignments. He has managed teams of legal search consultants both in New York and nationally. He is recognized as one of the leading legal search consultants in the United States.
Mr. Gerard shares his time between his offices in Manhattan, in Albany, New York and in Los Angeles. He is active in many civic and human rights organizations and is a nationally exhibited sculptor and a published poet.
